Way back when -- about 165 wins ago (@Win 50), Rise of Shock had been riding a 16 game winning streak, and frankly feeling pretty darn invincible!Our very next war - we ran into a clan by the name of "Elite-Squad"! Although it was a well fought war, we got beat pretty badly (65-55). But at Rise of Shock - we really don't mind losing fair & square, and it represents an opportunity to improve our bases, our defenses, our attack troops, our attack styles - and in some cases... to make new friends!
After the war, we visited each others clans - made friends, congratulated & consoled each other. Meanwhile Booger spent a bunch of money on gems because Bob Dole (I'm not making this up) ROLLED over his base with dragons. HAHA. We got a chance to know Smitty (a truly great leader), and the gang. We maintained a great friendship over the last couple years - swapping players to fill war gaps, and just to visit & have fun.
The merging of our clans is super-exciting for all of us. The fact is we both have great attackers, the same spirit of fairness & competitiveness, and strong - active leadership. We treat all clan members fairly, and by the same set of governing rules.
We will have some integration challenges (like the use of Group Me and how to manage a clan size of 50 as examples). But - We are confident that our friendships will continue to grow, our enjoyment of the game (yes, it is a game) will be enhanced, and we will have continued success!
